Teachers Participated in the 2021 Annual Meeting of the Chinese Society of Macroeconomic Management Education

The 2021 China Macroeconomic Management Education Association Annual Meeting and the Academic Seminar to Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Party will be held in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province from July 25 to 28. Northwest Normal University will be the organizer of the meeting. Deputy Dean Yang Feihu, Deputy Dean Qiu Ying, and Professor Shao Guohua of our school were invited to attend the conference. Doctoral student Wang Xiaoyi and master student Zhang Yuwen of our school attended the graduate forum of this year's conference.

2021 is the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. It is the first year of the 14th Five-Year Plan. It is also the original year of taking advantage of the momentum to advance towards the second centenary goal after the establishment of a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way. Based on the new development stage, implementing the new development concept, and building a new development pattern, deeper reforms and higher levels of opening up are needed to break through the blockages in the national economic cycle, form a higher level of dynamic balance between supply and demand, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the national economic system. There are a series of major theoretical and practical issues of macroeconomic management in the implementation of the dual cycle and the promotion of the dual cycle. Therefore, the theme of this annual conference is set as Macroeconomic Management under the New Development Pattern of Dual Cycle. Vice Dean Yang Feihu, Vice Dean Qiu Ying, and Professor Shao Guohua respectively delivered keynote speeches at the parallel forum, and two graduate students also delivered keynote speeches at the graduate forum, which won unanimous praise from the participants. Associate Dean Qiu Ying’s papers were shortlisted for the Excellent Paper Award at the annual meeting, reflecting the academic strength of our school.

There were more than 120 participants at this annual conference, from Renmin University of China, Central University of Finance and Economics, Liaoning University and other universities across the country. The participants had full talks around the theme of the conference, and the conference was a complete success.
