Summer Work Conference of College of Economics 2022 was held

On July 10, in order to comprehensively summarize the work in the first half of 2022, objectively analyze the difficult problems encountered in the development of the college, and continuously promote the sustainable and high-quality development of the college, the College of Economics held the 2022 Summer Work Conference. All members of the leadership team, heads of departments (rooms) and heads of majors attended, and some young teaching and research backbones of the college were specially invited to participate. The meeting was divided into three stages.

The first stage of the meeting was hosted by Yuan Cuiping, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the College. Members of the leadership team of the College summarized the achievements and problems of their respective work in the first half of the year and made arrangements for the work plan of the second half of the year.

         The second stage of the meeting was presided over by President Zhang Liguo. The participants discussed how to promote the sustainable and high-quality development of the college from the macro perspective of college management and discipline construction. The topics of the discussion were: further strengthening the construction of departments (rooms), including mobilizing the enthusiasm of departments (rooms), enhancing the participation and display of departments (rooms) in the work of the college, and enhancing the cohesion of departments (rooms); the long-term construction of disciplines and scientific research, including the long-term construction of teams, the institutional construction of cultivating the triple, the incentive of social service results and the incentive of teachers without scientific research contributions, and the incentive of teachers without scientific research contributions. The long-term construction of disciplines and scientific research includes the long-term construction of team, the system construction of cultivating triple, the incentive of social service achievements and the incentive and restraint of teachers without scientific research contribution. President Zhang Liguo listened carefully to the summaries of the work of the first half of the year by the leaders in charge of the faculty and the discussions on the further development of the faculty by all the participants and then made a concluding speech. He pointed out that in the first half of the year, under the special background of the epidemic, the work of the whole college was carried out orderly and steadily, and all the faculty and staff worked hard online and offline, and worked hard, and achieved good performance in all aspects of work, but some work was delayed due to the impact of the epidemic, and the task in the second half of the year was still relatively difficult. To successfully complete the work plan at the beginning of the year, we need to spend more effort, muster more courage and make more efforts. We expressed our heartfelt thanks to the participating members for their positive suggestions and emphasized that these opinions and suggestions have a good inspiration and strong reference value for promoting the high-quality development of the college, and the team members will think carefully and fully absorb and improve them in their work.

         The third stage of the meeting was chaired by Zou Chunfa, secretary of the party committee of the college. The participants discussed how to promote the continuous high-quality development of the college from micro perspectives such as the characteristics of each profession. The topics of the seminar were: professional construction including professional characteristics, training objectives and training programs; how to cultivate and declare provincial teaching achievement awards with the professional characteristics of the college. After listening to everyone's speech, Secretary Zou Chunfa said that everyone's speech was very valuable and the opinions and suggestions were relevant, and he believed that through this meeting, the college could make more progress in the second half of the year and the college could have more space for future development.

         Each of the participants combined their own work reality, digging deeper into their experience, both the current specific work of the exchange of problems, but also far-sighted macro-planning, on the theme of the seminar to express their own views, suggestions and advice, and a lively discussion and exchange, for the next step of the college work to point out the direction.
